MFA Rhode Island School of Design – Cum Laude Graduate, concentration in Jewelry and Metalsmithing.
Certificate Brown University – Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning Certificate 1 Recipient. Year long series of lectures and workshops aimed to improve the quality of reflective teaching to diverse styles of learning.
BFA Alfred University – Cum Laude Graduate, concentration in Sculpture and Printmaking; Minor in Art History.
SELECT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
The Steel Yard, Associate Director – Works closely with the Executive Director to facilitate the implementation of the mission and vision of the organization, with a focus towards mentoring staff to grow our organizational systems and competency. Simultaneously focusing on growing the organizations industrial-arts residency program
The Steel Yard, Program Director – Head of educational programming; work with independent artists to establish course curriculum and departmental objectives. Additionally responsible for special programming, such as grant funded job training courses and youth opportunities.
The Steel Yard, Communications Director – Responsible for website, press communications, newsletters, and public relations.
Hera Gallery, Gallery Director – Organize and curate exhibitions, responsible for writing grant proposals and press releases. Additional responsibilities include planning special events, working with artists and interns, gallery maintenance, and gallery sitting.
RISD, Continuing Education Instructor – Formulated syllabus and course criteria. Emphasis on technical skills, used technically oriented assignments to introduce students to the basic methods of silversmithing. Courses ranged from beginner and intermediate, to classes focusing on alternative material or processes.

2022 SNAG Conference – Meeting Points Discussion; spoke on community focused art practices from the perspective of an arts organization as platform/resource.
2021 Brown University – Humanities in Context; gave a public presentation about community engagement strategies within non-profit sector and how to reduce barriers to programs.
2021 Yale University – Life : Long : Learning; gave a presentation about non-academic learning opportunities and participated in conversation with colleagues and students.
2020 The Steel Yard – Presenting Your Best Self; gave an artist advancement workshop focusing on demystifying the process of writing strong artist bios, artist statements, and curriculum vitaes.
2017 AS220 – Participated on a panel discussing ’Becoming an Artrepreneurial City’ facilitated by the Mellon Foundation.
2013 RISD – Professional Practices Class; participated on a panel discussing how to artistically engage in the field of teaching, as well appropriate and professional methods for self-promotion.
2013 The Museum School – Jewelry Department; gave an artist talk on the genesis of my artistic career, and how to nurture ones creative endeavors beyond the sphere of academia.
2011 RISD – Professional Practices Class; gave a slide show and talk discussing my creative practice, and how to create a community of peers beyond the educational environment.
