There is great value in practicing yoga in community. By honoring the uniqueness of our own experience, we can begin to honor the individuality of others. Together, creating a resilient community of biodiversity.
Islay’s public classes are designed for students to explore their minds, challenge their perceptions, investigate their bodily experiences, and connect with the teachings of yogic wisdom traditions. She considers asana as the vehicle to investigate and internalize yogic philosophies and concepts.
In the chaos of today’s ever-changing world, her classes are a quiet pause of self, and collective, care.
